SAN DIEGO -- The Metropolitan Transit System will provide free rides on all San Diego buses and trolleys Thursday night for New Year's Eve revelers.Free bus and trolley rides will begin at 9 p.m., according to MTS.The MTS also plans extended all-night service on trolleys and on bus routes 7, 11 and 901. Other bus routes will end service at their normally scheduled times Kumeyaay Nation and Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
